[Construction Example 08] The exterior walls of the city hall are recreated with decorative exterior materials featuring a distinctive granite-like design.

The exterior walls of the expanded city hall were finished with a similar texture to the old city hall, using "Dotland" with a chiseled finish in granite.

We would like to introduce an example of the exterior wall of the newly constructed annex of the city hall, finished with "Dotland High-Rise Stone," which has a chiseled finish resembling granite. 【Project】[New Construction] Annex of the City Hall in Higashiomi City (Shiga Prefecture, Higashiomi City) ◇Construction Date: February 2014 ◇Construction Area: 1,200m2 ◇Substrate: RC 【Client's Challenges and Requests】 ◆The exterior wall of the annex should have a stone-like finish with colors and textures similar to the existing main building's column-type artificial stone finish. ◆To reduce maintenance costs for the building's exterior, we want to use long-lasting exterior materials. 【Selection Process】 ◇Seismic retrofitting work was carried out on the adjacent "Old Yokaichi City Hall," which is a building selected as one of the "100 Best Japanese Buildings," so it was necessary to preserve the existing design. ◇The new annex being constructed was also required to match the exterior design of the old city hall, and samples were created and proposed accordingly. 【Selection Points】 ◆It reproduces the texture and feel of high-quality granite with a thickness (approximately 6mm to 10mm) and impressive relief that cannot be expressed with conventional coatings. ◆It is lighter compared to stone materials of the same thickness, reducing the burden on the building's structure. ◆This product excels in durability, weather resistance, and stain resistance, maintaining a beautiful wall surface for an extended period.

[Construction Example 19] Interior walls of the apartment are finished with luxurious marble-like exterior materials.

The interior walls of the newly built condominium were finished with a bright and luxurious look using "TR-DX (fire-resistant specification)" in a marble travertine style.

Here is an example of an interior wall of a newly built condominium constructed with "TR-DX (non-combustible specification)" in a marble travertine style. 【Property】[Newly Built] Matsuo Mansion (Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture) ◇Construction Date: January 2009 ◇Construction Area: 65m2 ◇Base Material: ALC construction 【Customer's Challenges and Requests】 ◆We want the interior walls of the common areas of the newly built condominium to be bright and luxurious. ◆Since these are internal walls, we require non-combustible materials rather than general paints. ◆We want exterior materials that are excellent in weather resistance and design, and that reduce maintenance costs with a long lifespan. 【Adoption Background】 ◇Bright and luxurious design in a marble travertine style. ◇Functionality using highly weather-resistant and non-combustible materials. 【Selection Points】 ◆Using non-combustible materials certified by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, allowing for installation in quasi-fire-resistant and fire-resistant structures. ◆By finishing "TR-DX," which reproduces the worm-eaten pattern of marble travertine, with Edo-style joints, we express a refined luxury. ◆Due to complete responsibility for construction, we consistently provide high-quality products. ◆In particular, the beauty of the joints tightens the building and gives a sharp impression.

Finish with a chisel cut of granite: 'Dotland High-Rise Stone'

Utilizing the rich texture and quality of natural stone, we create a powerful wall surface with shadows and depth.

"Dotland Highrise Stone" reproduces the texture and feel of the traditional Japanese stone processing technique known as "chisel-cut finish." The chisel-cut finish, which processes the surface of heavy natural stone into a rough texture, creates a dynamic and shadowed appearance on walls, while reproducing the rich colors and beautiful patterns of granite. [Features] ■ Exceptionally beautiful finish that closely resembles natural stone ■ Top coat cuts 99.8% of ultraviolet rays ■ Flexibly adapts to underlying hairline cracks and other imperfections ■ Top coat has high hydrophilicity, maintaining aesthetics through self-cleaning functionality ■ Preserves the beauty and quality of exterior walls for a long time *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

[Construction Example 06] Operation room of the estuary gate constructed with highly decorative granite-like exterior materials.

The exterior walls of the control room for the estuary sluice gate have been finished with "Dotland High-Rise Stone" (Edo cut joint specification) in a finish resembling chiseled granite.

This is an example of the exterior wall of the newly constructed "Estuary Sluice Operation Room" at the mouth of the Hyakken River in Okayama City, which was constructed using "Dotland High-Rise Stone (Edo Cut Joint Specification)." 【Project】 [New Construction] Exterior Wall of Hyakken River Estuary Sluice Operation Room (Okayama Prefecture, Okayama City) ◇ Construction Date: March 2011 ◇ Construction Area: 721m2 ◇ Substrate: Precast Panels 【Customer's Issues and Requests】 ◆ We want the exterior wall of the new operation room to have a natural color that blends with the landscape around the estuary dam. ◆ Once the sluice gate is operational, maintaining the exterior wall is not easy, so a highly durable, long-lasting coating material is desirable. ◆ General paints have issues with durability and functionality, while natural stone cladding is too expensive. 【Adoption Background】 ◇ The initial plan was to use "Natural Stone Embedded PC Panels," but the design, weather resistance, and lightweight benefits of our proposed product were recognized, leading to its adoption. 【Selection Points】 ◆ This product reproduces the texture and feel of high-quality stone materials with thickness (approximately 6mm to 10mm) and impressive relief that cannot be achieved with conventional coatings. ◆ It is lighter than stone materials of the same thickness, reducing the burden on the building structure. ◆ It excels in durability, weather resistance, and stain resistance, maintaining a beautiful wall surface for a long time.
